Jakob Lindberg does a great job playing these pieces, and the sound is large and reverberant without being distracting, as sometimes happens with classical guitar and lute recordings. It's a rather quiet set of music, almost somnolent at times. It does not share in the tendency of recital-type albums to try to include a little of this and a little of that, which often results in an album that doesn't have an identity.
