This review is from: A Baroque Weekend (Audio CD)
This wonderful CD is a collection of ten "Baroque hits." Sporting twelve tracks, it has an excellent, reflective quality that makes it great listening. Indeed, as the cover suggests, listening to it while soaking in a relaxing bath is an excellent idea!I found the quality to be excellent and the choice of tunes perfect. I highly recommend this CD to all Baroque fans. Since it doesn't appear here, the twelve tracks ate: Albinoni, Tomaso - Adagio in G Minor Johann Pachelbel - Canon and Gigue in D Antonio Vivaldi - Echo Concerto - Allegro Antonio Vivaldi - Echo Concerto - Larghetto Antonio Vivaldi - Echo Concerto - Allegro Henry Purcell - Chacony in G Minor Johann Sebastian Bach - Air from Suite #3 in D Major Johann Sebastian Bach - Jesus Joy of Man's Desiring Johann Sebastian Bach - Badinerie Jean-Philippe Rameau - Tambourin in A Major Jean-Joseph Mouret - Premiere Suitte de Fanfares Marc-Antoine Charpentier - Prelude from Te Deum |
