A quantum leap in music...,
By Wim Kuilman (Delft, the Netherlands) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Barracuda (Audio CD)
If you're a Hine fan, go out and buy it. If you're not, go out and buy it. I'm sure you will like it, it's the stuff that made the 70's music so excellent.Quantum Jump is Rupert Hine, Mark Warner, John G. Perry and (last but not least) Trevor Morais. They made three albums in the late seventies, which were condensed into two re-issued CD's (Quantum Jump and Barracuda). Highlights for me are 'Don't look now', 'Starbright park' and 'Barracuda'. And even though the age of this music is close to 25 years, it still sounds as new as if it was made yesterday.

A pearl missed among re releases,
By I Simonius (UK Norfolk) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Barracuda (Audio CD)
Somehow this one got missed when they rereleased all the good stuff on CD from the 70's. This and its sister album are real pearls, collectors items, also it was way ahead of its time in terms of production.
Finally it's here |
