We all know this song is superworldly powerful, there's no other song which so quickly makes me want to drive like a feral warthog in the spring through the meadows of camrys, accords, slowboats and nincompoops

This song is pure
Aural Horsepower
Auditory Nitrous

Made for muscle car driving even if you only drive a '99 Civic!

This tune starts out with some hard driving guitar to which is added some hard driving drums. It has a loping, thrumming rhythm with lots of snare and tom tom accents throughout. The vocal is classic Heart and for me is the quintessential Heart classic. There is lots of interesting guitar work here and the recording holds up well even though this isn't a remastered version.

This is the song that made me fall desperately in love with Ann and Nancy Wilson. It was 1981...I found a tape in a car. It was my first car. A very Bad A$$ 67 fastback Mustang that would be worth tens of thousands of dollars today. That was a long time ago.(Neveryou mind HOW long ago!) Lol. Anyway, I remember I was so blown away by their powerful pulsing music and their Siren-like voices; the immaculate harmony was mesmerizing!...wow...I was gobsmacked. It's one of my favorites, Heart is, and will always be at the top of the list. Back in the day, music was a HUGE part of our lives. A time before Video games, a time before a million different tv stations to choose from. A time when you had to go buy the record or cassette (no instant downloads then!) Well, those days are long past. And now, I am burning MP3 and The Cloud Player up!! It has become kind of a game with myself...I think back and try to remember the songs that really floored me so that I can order it. And I don't have to buy the whole album and waste space...just getting the real killer songs; like this one..AWESOME!

Sure, this was Heart doing their imitation of Led Zeppelin. I mean, the drums are so John Bonham. But this song rocks no matter how you slice it.

This is one of those songs that regardless of age, you must have in your music collection. While it was before my time, my mom in particular would find it embarrassing if it didn't make my "classic rock" collection that seems to be popular for nearly every type of gathering with music.

The Signature Song from a Great Rock Band. I should have got these songs a long time ago. Great vocal melodies and music.

If you like 70's Rock, or Folk style music, you already love Heart. I looked up the meaning of this song, and it seems a scandal was in the making as the band was separating from their record label. As it turned out, the cover of their Dreamboat Annie Lp was put in the (I think Canadian) newspaper, of sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson, by their record label. It showed the two of them looking out, with a head to top of shoulder shot, with a suggestion that sisters were in a "unmentionable" extremely close relationship. This was to get as much attention and sales before they moved off to another label.

And Ann Wilson had only found out about it when after a show, someone asked how her "other half" was. She thought he was talking about her boyfriend, until the guy showed her the full page ad from the paper. They felt so betrayed, that this was the result. Revenge on their next LP with a Hit Song! I thought that was pretty cool story. And you can feel the betrayal, and anger in the song!
