I purchased this product for a friend who lives in Spring, Texas. He loved the product. He said that it was one of the few mosquito repellents that would actually repel the hordes of giant mosquitoes he had been suffering with. He warned that it would melt plastic, however, and that it was a very powerful and kind of stinky chemical.

I purchased this product in November of 2007. I wanted a bug repellant that would fight against mosquitoes in Central America. As those who have gone know, bites from Central American mosquitoes are gnarly. So, in response to what I knew about these bugs, I purchased the product with hopes that it would help. IT SURE DID!!!

If you want to protect your skin from bites, BUY THIS PRODUCT. The only two downsides (which I feel don't really matter) are that this product is very strong and it's a very small amount. I applied some on my feet and my nail polish started to bubble. As someone had mentioned before, this product melts plastic---very strong. BUT not to worry, this will NOT happen to your skin. As far as product amount goes: if you are a freak like me and if you're terrified of mosquitoes, 1 bottle will only last you for 3 days---BUY MORE. The reason for this measure is because I had to apply the product constantly as it is very humid in Central America, and because I was obsessed with NOT getting bitten.

This product is really great and I plan to purchase it for this summer. I will be going to Puerto Vallarta and I'm sure there will be mosquitoes I'll have to fight off.

my husband and i purchased a condo in Florida 2 years ago. Every time we would be down there I would almost immediately be attacked by no-seeums. I discovered that i was highly allergic to the bites and they would be very itchy for several weeks. I tried different insect repellents and nothing worked until this one.
Now i spray myself right away on the ride from the airport to the condo. This product really works!!!!

We bought these for fishing and working in the yard. In Florida, especially the last few months, the mosquitos have been horrendous. 100% Deet sprays are all that come close to working. These cost less that what I had been paying for 1oz bottles in the stores.

Great stuff, a little goes a long long way!
Will affect plastic if too much is used(took the paint off).

Good item, not too oily, but does melt my daughters nail polish. I am not too sure if it any better than the over the counter deep woods off, but it works as least as good, I will say that.

Very nice size for travel. Just the right ounces for carry on with airlines.
