I'd say Barron's was better than Cliff's, at least that was what my AP English teacher said, in that there are more practice tests in Barron. I didn't use it a lot at all, but what I did use of it prepared me well for the test.

It's always important for me to get the right learning materials for my daughters. The Barron's book helped my daughter greatly. English is not her strongest nor favorite subject in school.
While she was afraid of her performance, she passed the AP test! Like one other review stated, Barron's has many practice tests in comparison to many other prep books.
