One major disappointment is that the practice problems are riddled with errors, typos, etc. On some questions, the correct answer is not an answer choice, and on other questions, the worked out solution is wrong (either solving for a different variable than asked in the question, or a straight up wrong solution to the problem). Also, the answer key often provides a different answer than what the worked out solution says.
Overall, it gets the job done for under $20, but if you are using it to actually learn the material, you will be very very confused with all the errors. I would only recommend it if you are confident with your engineering knowledge and just want some practice problems to brush up with.
In short, this book has way too many errors, should not have gone to print like this. The editor should be fired.
Typos and erroneous calculations aside, this book also fails to match NCEES notation and uses problems several degrees of difficulty higher than can be expected on the actual exam.
DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK.

The sections it has are good to look over, however this is missing a good portion of the sections on the FE which I didnt check before hand so I guess it could be my fault as well.Published 11 months ago by Kyle
