I had a fun AP geography teacher but we honestly didn't get through a whole lot of material in the class. Barron's taught me so much more and exposed me to new vocab and concepts that I was then able to learn about. Its practice tests were very helpful for establishing a baseline of where I needed to study, and its explanation for answers to questions was thorough and helpful. Studying it in the weeks leading up to the AP exam, I pretty much credit Barron's with helping me get a 5 on the AP test.

This book it great in explaining multiple choice questions, but the practice tests are too easy. Also the essays are bad.

Good, helpful. The only way to get a five is to actually try hard and study, but this book sure did help. The diagnostic tests were slightly irrelevant, but the short response questions were helpful. A little too detailed but it was easy to find vocab definitions. Know your vocab.

This book is incredibly helpful in preparing and reviewing for the AP Exam. Although it does not substitute learning the material in class, it is a thorough book that can aid you in reviewing for the test. I, honestly, did not start studying until the week before the test. That said, this test, along with my brilliant teacher, are given the credit for me obtaining the 5 on the exam. The Barron's book picks out the most important topics and information as well as the important vocab that are tested on the exam.

The book also has two practice tests and a diagnostic test which are suprisingly helpful in helping you focus your studying on the specific topics that you lack knowledge in.

I recommend this product to anyone taking the AP Human Geography Exam. It truly helps and is definitely worth the money.

I had a good human geography teacher and this book was an excellent, trimmed-down supplement to what I learned in that class. I got a 4 on the exam and I'm sure I wouldn't have received it without this book.

Son uses it and likes it.I will be getting this for the other kids. it is very informative and helpful in a class setting

One of the hardest high school freshman classes. Why? I don't know but this book helps, according to my son.
