This book has captured all different types of questions in all formats of the test (Speaking, Listening, Reading & Writing) pretty well.

I used only this book for the preparation for 15 days and scored 7.5

One of the best books for IELTS. Have looked for other books, but Barron's books are definitive guides. Was very detailed in explanation and the best parts were the tests included in the book.
Bought it for my wife and she got the score she wanted! Would highly recommend this book to anyone preparing for IELTS tests.

The book is execellent to prepate students for all 4 sections of the IELTS exame.

This book is highly recommended! Two thumbs-up from me. Price is good as the book also contains two cds for me to listen and practice my English proficiency. This book really encourage those people who wants to improve their English language. Really worth the price!!!

it is not bad at all, and it it worth every penny i paid for it, i'd highly recommend this book for international students who would like to know how to pass the ielts test since it has some good practicing test

If you need to prepare for IELTS this book is good have a good tips and I like the promise that you need to do when start book... interesting....

The book is very simple and the way of learning how to read is the best part, but is still weak and does not teach students how to improve the yes/no/not given and the important questions that people get wrong. The speaking tests for part 1 are ok, but the part 2 and 3 questions no longer exist in the real exam... so it's a waste of time. The writing is ok for beginners and the method is alright as it breaks down the main bodies well... but it still isn't good as the listening after section 1 and 2 do not really relate to the real test. E.g. the toaster part - what is that about? I'm in shock! The problem is that I spent my cash on this book!

It is a great book. If you just read it alone you will be able to have a high score in your english test. It has a very good preparation.

I used this book to teach an IELTS preparation class. The main advantage of the book is that it has a lot of practice material. The disadvantages are the sections on reading and writing. The reading section is short, and most of the activities are based on one rather difficult reading passage. The writing section is almost impossible to use because it doesn't address the different writing tasks separately. I hope that they correct this in the next edition. That being said, I haven't found another book that I like better.

This book is reall building and organising your thoughts to prepare for the exam.
It helps in every section. It has lot ideas and practice material in a stepwise manner, so that one cam practice and have better knowledge of what they are doing?. Good luck.
