This is my first review but this product is such an excellent deal I felt compelled to tell others! Not only does it provide a nicely bound bilingual dictionary but it provides an electronic version of the dictionary in mobipocket (PRC) format! The mobipocket version makes reading foreign language ebooks very convenient. At this price it really provides tremendous value and you will be very satisfied with this purchase. Buy some for your friends and family - they'll love it and think you paid a lot more that you did!

This is an excellent bilingual Italian-English dictionary for any level student. Although I also need a smaller one to carry when traveling, I have found this dictionary to be attractive, easy to read, with clear definitions, and with many very useful example phrases to aid in understanding multiple meanings and idioms. Irregular verb forms are often included to help people who can't figure out what verb form to look up. I have not used other 2009 Italian dictionaries (it's important to have an up-to-date dictionary with recent words), but I have used dictionaries in many languages, and this is one of the finest.

What can I say. It is a great resource and so far, it has met all my needs for finding words, even in different tenses, etc. The price was right but it is not a small, pocket-type book. This one belongs on your book shelf but I carry it around with me as an aid to the self-study course I am taking.

This dictionary has all you need to learn a new language, including pronunciations, explanations, and examples. Of course, an electronic one would be much more convenient.

I found this dictionary to be very thorough and complete. It includes words I haven't found in many other dictionaries including a lot of slang and cultural phrases.

My wife is taking advanced Italian and she has used it almost everyday since its arrival.

I am studying Italian and use this dictionary constantly, both in and out of class. It is very complete and fits easily into my backpack.

The title says it all. An absolute bargain. Barron's makes a very high quality product.

Although I haven't had much of a chance to use this book, I have flipped through it and it does seem to be an extensive resourse for English to Italian conversion. I am just recently learning the language, so it will be very helpful.

Ordered two by mistake. Gift for niece, She will be going to Rome for one year and wanted this book. First was in good shape, second had some slight damage and she will be returning it for credit.
She was very happy to receive this book.
