Did not come in a sealed package, but in a small ziploc bag. Will not use it...Also, shipping was way expensive in comparison with the value of the product.

It came in a good quality, resealable bag which was heat sealed at the top to prevent tampering. Shipping is reasonable if you are purchasing other items from Barry Farms. I've purchased many items from Barry Farms, and this is as good of a quality as anything else I've tried.

The citric acid was just what I expected for my bath bombs but I cannot order more as the shipping cost are just too high.

After reading the other reviews on this product I was a bit weary of purchasing, but everything met or exceeded me expectations. The price was as low as I could find for 4oz of citric acid. I paid for standard shipping which was a typical price for the size of the package, not overpriced as others have stated, it said it may take up to two weeks to arrive. But, to my surprise, it arrived two business days later, (faster than the unrelated item I purchased off Amazon the same day, that I paid two day shipping for). It arrived in a heat sealed bag, and is also resealable to keep it dry. The quality of the citric acid is as good as any other I've received. I use it to make frozen sour pops for my kids, and they came out as good as always. I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely use this seller in the future.

I bought this item as a replacement for the more.expensive "Fruit Fresh" which I use in emulcified juices I make myself.

With s/h it wasn't cheaper and didn't do a better job of preserving the juices for storage in the frig. And it had a much more bitter after taste than "Fruit Fresh" I still have most of the bottle left

So I don't think I'll buy this again.

I use citric acid for my hair. I've started shampooing my hair with Borax disolved in water. A citric acid rinse is necessary to remove all the traces of Borax. In addition, it has been an excellent addition to my henna. I add it to distilled water prior to mixing it with my preffered brand of henna. It makes a smoother yet sticky paste which adheres to my hair much better than just plain water and henna powder. So far, I'm loving the additiion of citric acid to my hair care regimen.

The product is exactly what I wanted, the price was acceptable and I received it in the time stated. I thought the shipping charge was a little too much.
