5.0 out of 5 stars Holds a ton of memories, February 17, 2008
This review is from: Barry Williams Presents: 70s Music Explosion (Audio CD)
This cute CD set (four CDs, count them!) contains some of the best music to come out of the 1970s! Everything is here from Saturday Night by the Bay City Rollers, through Saturday In The Park by Chicago, to Sometimes When We Touch by Dan Hill. There's isn't a bad song in the batch.

Yeah, my wife and I love this collection. During a recent car trip, we popped these CDs into the player, one at a time, and listened to the songs and remembered the past. It seemed that during each one one of us would make some sort of comment about the song and what it reminded us of. Indeed, this fun case doesn't just hold the CDs, it holds a ton of memories.

So, if you fondly remember the 1970s, then get this CD set, and let the sounds and the memories wash over you. We give this CD set our highest recommendations!

I don't own this collection, but I have seen it in stores. The 45 rpm record case is a nice touch, and there is a total of 41 songs that are not found on Rhino's "Have A Nice Day" 7-disc set.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you enjoyed this CD, you will enjoy "Remember the '70s Greatest Hits LIVE"., October 21, 2010
This review is from: Barry Williams Presents: 70s Music Explosion (Audio CD)
If you enjoyed this CD, you will enjoy "Remember the '70s Greatest Hits LIVE".

In the early 1970s "Rollin' On The River" with Kenny Rogers and The First Edition was filmed at CTV in Canada. "Remember the '70s Greatest Hits LIVE" is a DVD of 14 top 40 hits from the 1970s Rollin' TV Series.

The "Remember the '70s Greatest Hits LIVE" DVD is hosted by Kenny Rogers and The First Edition Drummer "Mickey Jones".

The "Remember the '70s Greatest Hits LIVE" DVD is the first 14 restored and digitally remastered performances of what we hope will be an ongoing process for all 400 performances in the 52 episodes of the Rollin' television series.
