Holds a ton of memories,
By Kurt A. Johnson (North-Central Illinois, USA) - See all my reviews (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE) (TOP 100 REVIEWER) (REAL NAME)

This cute CD set (four CDs, count them!) contains some of the best music to come out of the 1970s! Everything is here from Saturday Night by the Bay City Rollers, through Saturday In The Park by Chicago, to Sometimes When We Touch by Dan Hill. There's isn't a bad song in the batch.
Yeah, my wife and I love this collection. During a recent car trip, we popped these CDs into the player, one at a time, and listened to the songs and remembered the past. It seemed that during each one one of us would make some sort of comment about the song and what it reminded us of. Indeed, this fun case doesn't just hold the CDs, it holds a ton of memories. So, if you fondly remember the 1970s, then get this CD set, and let the sounds and the memories wash over you. We give this CD set our highest recommendations!

I don't own this collection, but I have seen it in stores. The 45 rpm record case is a nice touch, and there is a total of 41 songs that are not found on Rhino's "Have A Nice Day" 7-disc set.

not my pick,

They are not the pick of the litter for what I would choose from that era. Barry Williams and I have different taste in music. Some was okay, but most was not the station I would have tuned into.
