I just replaced my engine in my 1993 Toyota Camry but forgot to do replace the rear main seal..really dumb but it was my first time replacing an engine so just for the mean time as a quick fix I picked this up and put it in with the oil and what do you know after 100 miles my leak went from about 2 quarts overnight to none at all! So now i have some time to by before taking the engine and transmission apart so if your rear main is leaking try this out you will be happy with the results!

I purchased my Dodge 1500 PU new in March of 1998. I've driven it for 168,000 then developed the first leak; happened to be the rear main seal. I priced the repair job and decided I would try Bar's Leak main seal repair. I drove the truck for about 60 miles on the first day and the leak stopped. That was about 3,000 miles ago. Time for an oil change and hoping I don't have to add another bottle. Thinking I may make it a "routine" say every 2nd or 3rd oil change. Just have to wait and see.

I am very pleased and absolutely recommend it to anyone experiencing a similar problem. No more oil drips on the driveway or on the garage floor.

I did not think my oil leak could be fixed. It was messing up my garage floor and driveway and it was so bad I was embarrased to park in any friend's driveway. But I love my old Cutlass convertible so I asked all my friends on Facebook and someone sugessted Bar's Leaks 1050 Rear Main Seal Repair. She said she had it work for her. Well, it worked for me too and my sweet old convertible and I are best friends once again. Thanks to Bar's Leaks my car is repaired. I just don't know if I have to keep using it or if it is fixed for good. Does anyone else know?Bar's Leaks 1050 Rear Main Seal Repair - 32 oz.

I used this stuff and my oil did not leak on the rear main seal but it was such a small leak I don't know how it would perform on large leak.

Did absolutely nothing. Rear seal leak did not slow down at all. (Car loses about a half a pint between each oil change. I would have expected this product to have sealed this small leak.)
