For Anybody Who Wants To Experience A True Indian Sound, July 26, 2005

This is a fascinating CD-Musafir successfully blends traditional India with the new, electronically-oriented sound taking over the world. The saraangi and electric organ are a surprisingly beautiful match, and the traditional Indian folk singing goes in great contrast to the modern vocal stylings of the acclaimed Egyptian singer Natacha Atlas on the sixth track entitled, "Ali Mullah." A fantastic example of how India is thriving while finding a balance between the old world and the new. A good CD for people who would like a good array of Indian music to branch off from. A fantastic Rajasthani experience!
