My six-year-old granddaughter requested "real" binoculars for Christmas so I set out to find them with three requirements: the glasses had to fit her small hands, be of good quality and most importantly, come in the color pink. The Barska Porro Binoculars fit the bill, and then some. Sasha was, and still is, delighted with the glasses which also came with a neck strap, case, and cleaning cloth. Great deal, fabulous price! Perfect gift for a budding adventurer.

My almost-3 year old daughter loves this Christmas gift from Santa....it was one of only three things she really asked for, for Christmas. She uses it every day and loves looking around thru them...however, don't expect much as far as amplification goes. If anything, things look further away and not closer. You can't really zone in on any object. Great price, cute product, makes 3 year old girls THRILLED.

I bought these for my daughters (3 & 5). They are great! Very durable and child friendly. Much better quality than a lot of the ones I have seen. They come with a case and cleaning cloth. Excellent product!!

I bought these for my daughter to take to Opera but I'm not sure that will work. The only time we managed to focus them properly and see OK with them was outside in the sunny weather. They are not good for the inside. The picture "dances" and jiggles too much. She wont let me send them back because of pink color. OK as toys not for much else.

These binoculars are appealing to young girls and the optical quality is fine for kids. However, the clip that attaches each end of the strap to the binocular is so flimsy that a seven-year-old holding the binocular with both hands and tugging a bit sprung the clip and sent the binocular falling on the floor. The optics were permanently damaged so that the view was skewed. Another problem is that the focusing ring is too stiff for a child's index finger to turn it effectively, so that an adult has to adjust it for her. If you're birding with your child this is a nuisance. If you buy this item be sure to purchase a different strap or replace the clips with something stronger.

got these for my nieces 4 and 7 and they love them. use them to look at the birds in the back yard at the birdfeeder. definately not the best binoculars that i have ever owned but for the price they are great.

I got these for when my nieces visit us, and they loved them. They love the cute pink color, but more than anything, they like that they're not just "toy" binocs. They have their own straps and cover case. They work quite well for the price, and now we don't have to worry about them wanting to use our expensive ones.
