Equipped with an integrated 5 mw red laser sight built right into the objective lens,
the Barska Designator riflescope supports three different target acquisition methods, making it a versatile choice for hunters of all stripes. Utilizing compact, high-impact-rated laser diode technology, Barska was able to mount the laser vertically to the top inside of the scope's objective lens. This design--which doubles the targeting power of the lens--instead put the windage and elevation adjustments above the objective lens, making the scope every bit as functional as traditional riflescopes. More importantly, the Designator's laser lets you acquire your target in three different ways: you can designate the target with the red laser for quick acquisition; you can use the scope's reticle to zero in on the target; or you can use a combination of the reticle and the laser. As a result, hunters can find the best target acquisition method for any situation. Other features include the new Designator reticle, a 30mm main tube for maximum light gathering, and a wide magnification range of 2.5 to 10x.

Do not buy this scope! I eagerly awaited to get this scope to mount on my ar-15, after it arrived I realized I needed 30mm scope rings, doesn't really specify that in the product detail. After I finally found some 30 mm scope rings I mounted it. Next day I went out to zero it in, all was well at 50 yards, dead accurate, until a little later when I shot a few more rounds I noticed I was having trouble focusing the scope. After a few more shots I realized I could no longer zoom in or out. The reticle is crooked and completely out of focus now. Spend a little bit more and go with a nikon, or at least a scope backed by a good lifetime warranty!
