Well worth the money, July 6, 2010
These are great binoculars considering the price. The optics are crisp and clear.
My only disappointmwnt with them is the right diopter adjustment is stiff and hard to turn without screwing up the center fodcus wheel. It sticks and causes the main focus to go off. I would have given these a 5 if not for this.

Great Binos, November 6, 2009
I recently purchased the Barska huntmaster 10x42 binoculars and am very impressed. I must say that i was very skeptical on straying away from Leupold or Nikon but am glad i did. The clarity is great, seem to be heavy duty, and for once a product that matches the advertisement. I have had an opportunity to use some high end binos such as a nice set of Swarovski's. Im not saying these compare to swarvaski but they are also not 1400 dollars. They do the job and are not hard on the eyes. The price does not convey the quality of these binos. Not sure how they are able to sell at a low price like this. I would purchase again, and would highly recommend these to a buddy. If your not wanting to spend a butt load of money but still looking for quality, Here You Go.

Barska Huntmaster 8x42 Binoculars, August 14, 2009
After hearing both good and bad things about Barska, I decided to take a chance on their top of the line Huntmaster binoculars.
Amazon's price was great, as these list for over $300.
However, they proved to be very poor performers.
Both lenses had a copperish colored glare on the inside upper edge of each side, and would not focus clearly at 30-40 yards.
This was probably caused by misaligned lenses, a common complaint I've heard about Barska.
The consensus seems to be you either get a really good pair, or one like mine.
I only took a chance on them because of Amazon's great return policy for defective items.
If you're willing to take a chance on getting a good one, make sure you get it from Amazon or a retailer with a money back guarantee.
I personally won't buy any more Barska products.
I've heard their quality control is bad, and I've experienced that for myself.
If this is Barska's top of the line binoculars, they really need to work on quality control.
The focus wheel worked smoothly, and the twist up eye cups were great, but the optics ruined a potentially great pair of binoculars.
For a pair of 8x42 binoculars, they performed poorly in low light conditions.
They are surprisingly heavy as well, which gets tiring quickly.
I went with a pair of Leupold Cascades, and there is no comparison at all, not even close.
Not recommended.
