Much better optics than the less expensive scopes on the market today.

I requested warranty service from Barska, and their emailed response was to take out the batteries and then put them back in when I wanted to shoot it.

Could not get this rifle sight to hold zero, and I was only shooting .22.

I have this mounted on my AR-15 and sighted it in at a 300 meter target at 25 meters and this thing is dead-on. As long as that dot is on target, that is where the round goes. You do need a screwdriver to adjust windage and elevation, but the dot DOES move (unlike the review of another) and is adjusted by the common "clicks" on both windage and elevation. If you find the right rail riser and the right rear sight, this can be easily co-witnessed. Can't beat it for a little over $20.

I installed this scope on my Ruger 10/22 rifle. It is easy to zero, with nice clicky adjustments. No magnification, of course, but it is a major improvement over iron sights for shooting at 50 ft or less unless you can simultaneously focus on three different things at different distances (which I can't). Image is clear, price is excellent. My only complaint is that the dot appears vertically elongated unless I have the brightness turned way down - probably my eyes.

this is a great little red-dot, i put this red dot on my ruger 22/45. mounts are firm and secure, (but be aware you must have a weaver/picatinny mount for this to fit) sighting this red-dot in is very easy, the clicks are precise and consistent with the dot, after sighting this in, it held a zero for around 100 rounds i put through that day and is still good, the accuracy is great, its dead on, wherever you put the dot is where that bullet hits, (you get the point lol) this red-dot is not big, nor small, so its good for use on either rifle or a pistol-(in my case) the actual dot on this red dot is (for the most part) crisp and clear while your shooting, and the 11 brightness settings are great for ANY lighting you are in, 10 or 11 works great in pure sunlight, all the way down to 1 or 2 for complete darkness. i WILL say, that if you have the brightness setting a little to high for your lighting around you, the "dot" will look more like a spider web across your scope, but there is a good brightness setting for any lighting, just find the right one... one last thing... kudos to barska for including a lens cleaning cloth, AND an extra battery =) i highly recommend this red-dot!

I felt kind of cautious about buying this at first due to the low price, but I was definitely wrong about being so nervous. I mounted this red dot scope on my .22 rifle and I was glad that I did. It is easy to adjust with a screwdriver which shouldn't be a problem for anyone, since screwdrivers aren't hard to find. The dot is very visible in bright daylight and dead accurate. This is definitely the best $20 replacement for iron sights.

This sight is an amazing sight for what you pay. I put this sight on my DPMS AR-15. Once I got it sighted in (it was not set to the mechanical zero), where ever the dot was is where I hit. I put about 2000 rounds through my firearm before I had to re-sight, and it was only a minor adjustment. It comes with a spare battery, covers for both ends of the sight, and a microfiber cleaning rag. I was a little hesitant about buying this product at first because I heard that the sight would randomly turn off when you fired higher caliber rifles. All you have to do to fix that is tight the battery cap on top of the sight with a flat blade screw driver. Overall this is a great product for the occasional shooter.

i didnt get mine on amazon but, i LOVE this thing !!
once i got it dialed in i was dead on !!! i had 3 friends with me and they were all impressed, i got mine at big5 with a coupon for $15.00 if you have a ruger 10/22 get this sight !!
it only takes one watch battery and you can change the brightness of the dot from 1 to 11 (although it is sometimes hard to see in the day light ) seams to be built well and comes with a nice lens cover.
as far as adjusting the sight i dont see what the big deal is about ( its not like your paying $100.00 or more )so you have to use a screwdriver big deal (or a swiss army knife) or any pocket knife that has a screwdriver that most people HAVE now day's, it's very easy to adjust, it took me like 30 min. to get mine dialed in and we all hit every time.

This Barska is a fully functional red dot scope. It is designed for fast target aquistition in low light through very bright conditions. I have used this scope at night and in bright sun with snow on the ground.. (check out my photos) This scope looks great and fits perfectly on my Classic Army M15 but you will need to use a rail riser. It also fits perfectly on MP5 with no riser needed. (UTG brand)

Bought this as a gift for my son Sean to put on his Ruger 10/22. We mounted it and went up into the hills to try it out. He had it zeroed with the easy to access adjusters in about 10 minutes and I could not believe the accuracy we had with this inexpensive sight. Hitting 16 oz plastic bottles at 75 feet was easy. He turned them on their side so only the red cap was visible and could easily hit that. Pretty much if you put the red dot on it you hit it. Dot is more of a little star than a dot but that certainly didn't affect the accuracy. Shot about 200 rounds and it held it's zero just fine. All in all, I was pretty amazed that a less than $30 sight could be that good. Can't speak to long term reliability but it appears to be well constructed and the results today were great. It's a plus that they include a cleaning cloth and a spare battery.
