Good advice from the little brat Bart Simpson. There's tons of funny things like Love=Hate unless they really hate. How to get out of doing chores. How to get more money from your parents. lies your parents tell you "If you tell me I promise I won't get mad. It is one of the best Simpsons books I have ever read! How to make your parents go crazy "Say are we there yet every 10 seconds". Barts dream room, and even if you don't like bart simpson there's things like Lisa's dream house Homer's Beauty Secrets and Marge's Beauty Secrets. It also has how to cheat "If you get caught don't say my name". What do parents think? Don't know then read! There is even Zesty Prayers "Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray my bladder doesn't leak. If I should pee before I wake, I pray the Lord to dry my lake". There's even Nutritional Information and Ingredients on the back. So give a hoot ask your parents to buy Bart Simpson's Guide to Life. If they don't let you yell and scream intill you lose all your breath and pass out on the floor. You won't be missing anything good I'll be here reading the old people's newspaper, so go, NOW!

this is a true guide to life from Mr. Know it him self Bart Simpson , it tells you a lot of useful and un useful stuff about life and what to do in certain situation, also how to get to know girls how to make it in school , sex , religion ... every thing .

the best part i like is the one about writing book reports , so funny man ,well if you like Matt Groening old stuff like the (life is hell) books you'll love this one , and if you like the Simpson also get this one , i recommend to every body any age any where, also take a look at Matt Groening old stuff (life is hell) the are as good and funny as this one .

some of these other reviews ticked me off! i thought this book was excellent! i bought it when it first came out(1993) and i STILL love to read it from beginning to end! this isn't a story book, it pretty much is a guide to life! it is filled with different sections including school, food, xmas, art & culture, parents, etc.. i LOVED it! each page was also filled with colorful illustrations. there is a lot of info in this book, like a section where it gives you a list of phobias AND foreign language section! it tells you how to pronounce and write 6 "bart like" phrases and gives the english approximation for them in 7 different languages! there is SOOO much more in here i can't write it all! if you have any questions, PLEASE e-mail me! The book was nothing about the Simpsons. It was okay but defiantley not 5 stars.

This book is wriiten from the boy with the yellow hair, bart simpson in ten years old but has some brilliant ideas about the modern world and things that annoy parents, find the true meaning of life and the truley annoying questions that even bart himself can't answer. This is a truly brilliant book which i would recomend for anybody with a high level of humour tickling your funny bones this is not one to be missed!

In this delightful book, you'll find not exactly a guide-but a non-edible pain reliever. It points out stupidity in everyone and creates laughter everywhere. Everything from school to the three letter word ten-year-olds aren't supposed to say-this book has it all. All people-from ten-year-olds to the kiss of death must read this book.

This well, wonderfully blunt written book is 175 (even the covers!) pages of great laughs and things you could even relate to. If you love or like the Simpsons, you'll love this book. If you don't favor the Simpsons, you'll love this book anyway. This cute little devil has really done it this time-and I'm glad he did. This is best for those who still have an immature, realistic view on life and aren't afraid to crack a smile at another wondrous creation of Matt Groening. I can read and re-read and never grow tired of it. This is definitely worth a few inches of shelf space and a few hours or so of your time. A pleasant keeper for life (at times you may have to refer to it later and you'll be thankful to have it).

I am an Australian boy who has this book and I'd like to say to you Americans that this book rocks. It has everything you need to know about: School, Food, Health and fitness, Work and money, After hours, Parents, Art and culture, science, language and communication, Sex, Animals, phsycology, Strange Facts, Law and Order, Christmas and Religion. The best bit is when Bart tells you how to cure hiccups, Hay fever, Coughing, Sunburns, warts, acne and ennui! I tried curing hiccups by how Bart does it and it worked a few minutes later! I love this book!

This book was entertaining,exciting,and learned cool things from it.I give this book five stars for everything I just said.I liked it because it had a funny sarcastic way of saying things.The only thing I did'nt have enough information on somethings.Overall I thought this book was great!

Bart's Guide to Life is a must read for anybody. Page for page are various different comics and commentary on life by Bart. Bart covers a wide range of topics from parents to school, health, fitness, psychology, food, etc. Each page is full of nonstop hilarity. Bart's Guide to life is a parody of our culture and values. Bart's sharp wit is insightful, creative and extremely funny. This book proves that hilarity and social commentary can be combined superbly without being snobbish or snide. Bart's Guide to Life should in my opinion, be considered a literary comic classic.
