Space is an issue in my kitchen - and this cookbook holder helps conserve it. Holds any size recipe book (can even layer multiple books on top of each other)and folds to take up almost no room in the cupboard. Plastic cover keeps books clean (wish I had this years ago), and is easy to keep looking good. Great product.

I almost bought a much cheaper stand and I'm so glad I didn't!!!! It is designed to hold virtually any size cookbook and the splatter guard is great. Your book sits on a firm base so you don't have to worry about it falling over AND BEST OF ALL, IT FOLDS TO THE SIZE OF A SMALL-MEDIUM COOKBOOK! I put it on my shelf with my other cookbooks and it takes up virtually no space when not in use and doesn't take up much of the counter when in use either!!! I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!!!

All decor chic, high quality practical.. display it on your counter or fold away in a cupboard .Accomodates variety of cookbook sizes...easy view splash guard resists scratches..I had an old world cast iron stand, always had to adjust the angle of viewing and the bottom rusted . This stand is durable and I know I will have it for years to come. You will be very satisfied .

Some people are very neat cooks and bakers. I'm not one of them. When I cook or bake, there is flour dusting roughly half the counter, splotches from the hand beater cast about and occasional grease spots. I have tried many other portable cookbook stands and this one really has held up to the call. It is adjustable so that I can cook out of both a skinny spiral book as well as Joy of Cooking with ease and without busting the binding. The acrylic covering is easy to see through while cooking and easy to clean off cooking products when done. It all folds together and fits in a small space. If I had the counter space, I'd leave it out as it is also one of the prettiest book holders I've ever seen. The only improvement that I can see on this product is that the acrylic cover could be just a few inches wider to fully protect my recipe magazine annuals. For now, I just make sure that the area closest to where I am cooking is covered.

This stand is sturdy and adjustable. It's easy to read through and my cookbook pages don't get wet or greasy.

This stand is the best! It holds everything from a single sheet of paper to my largest cookbook, then folds up and joins my cookbooks looking like another book! It has a beautiful, easy to clean finish, and I love how the acrylic protects the pages from spatters. I would highly recommend this stand to anyone.

A bit larger than I would like for my small counter top space but does what it is supposed to do....Protect my books/recipes. I do like the foldable storage design.

I was really excited when I received this cookbook holder as a bridal gift. No more having to use cans or various other items to hold my books open! It's terrific-adjustable for many different sized books, has a splatter guard and it's attractive. I definitely recommend this product and will purchase as a gift in the future.

pros: it has a plastic shield. nice wood, not cheap looking, sturdy. can hold a big book, it's large.

cons: it's large, doesn't cook for you =)
