Format: Paperback
In order to understand and getting closer to the soul and spirit of this master composer, this text is a must-buy. It contains relevant essays that reveal the marvelous existential incandescence of this unique human being; as the composer himself asserted in 1905:

"The Empire of dissonances is mine."

The added value, analytical study and abundant material make of it an absolute reference.

PD. I had the opportunity to shake hands with Gyorgy Sandor in Caracas (Dec/9/1982) and exchanged some aspects of Bela Bartok with him. He told me Bartok talked seven idioms as well as the fascinating personality he was. I still remember his face and how it illuminated when he talked about him. Images and memories that my memory preserves which I really wanted to share with you my dear reader.

Good and balanced collection of essays from Bela Bartok. A must read since there are not many books from this composer in the market.
