Mr Beard's recording is very lively and musically precise. The slow ballads are every bit as good as the straight ahead blues numbers he does, many in the tradition of Robert Cray.

Great work here. Had to hunt this CD down after hearing a few tracks on Pandora. MP3s just don't get it. Not even at 320k. What a shame it's out of print.

Well, this obviously gets a vote of 5 stars. With a name like Chris Beard, why wouldn't it? I have sampled this cd and I love it completely. Also, the artist has the same name as I do, so naturally, he must be awesome. I hope this review was helpful to you.
