Sarasa and Shuri travel toward Kanto to attack the Blue King. Assumed to be runaway slaves, they are captured by the Blue King's Royal Guard and forced to compete in the infamous Suzkuka Murder Race, in which slaves must run for their lives and avoid being killed by men on horseback and chariots. If they can make it through the Suzuka Ridge and return to Nagoya, they can claim an extraordinary prize.

Ok, so I'm only reviewing this volume, but I've read them all. Each one of them is worth reading and worth buying. I read all types of manga, and even though this is listed as shoujo I think it's borderline. Sure it's got cute guys and romance, but the main plot is action. I don't want to give too much away, so I'll just say that I laughed, I cried, and I fell totally in love with this manga.
