So my wife had been after me since I replaced the light bulbs in our chandelier at the top of the steps. The CFL's I used took to long to put out enough light for her to see well enough and she did not care for the color they put out. My excuse was her and the kids would leave it on for hours for no reason (other than they forgot) and it had 60 watt bulbs in it previously (multiply that by 3 bulbs and that's 180 watts) which in the summer time did a good job of heating the house I was trying to cool. Fast forward to now. I put in these bulbs which claim 2 watts each and now if they leave it on they are pulling about what a incandescent night light pulls (6 watts total). However the light color it puts out is very close if not right on what the old incandescent lights put out. Now it is not as bright as those were but it is not pulling 180 watts its only pulling 6. I would say these light up my upstairs about half as good, but that's all that is needed. With the old lights it was like a giant sun.

I read good reviews for these bulbs on Amazon before purchasing two of these LED bulbs. However, the bulbs I received did not look like the one in the picture. They had flame tips and not bright at all. The size was not well fit for for my chandelier. I had to return the bulbs and ended up buying LED bulbs made by TCP which made excellent dimmable LED Candelabra Bulbs.

LED lamp color can be harsh. These lights turned out to be what I was hoping for: not too harsh, cooler to the touch, saves energy for the equivalent lumens, and they will last ten times longer that those hot incandecent lamps.
The only problem occurred three years after purchase. The plastic at the base started to yellow; I assume from UV exposure. My fixture has a clear (not frosted) glass cover, so the yellowing is noticeable.

I ordered this bulb and ended up getting a bulb that didn't work. I made sure the bases were compatible and even checked to see if it was the socket and the unit itself but everything worked except the bulb purchased. Now I got to send this thing back and find another. It's a shame

This might be a great bulb but I haven't tried it yet because I got it for a salt lamp and it's too large to fit. This bulb is 4 inches tall and about the size of an egg in diameter. So bottom line, this bulb won't work in salt lamps like mine.

There's a green/gray(!?) cast to the light of this lamp. Colors are washed out in an effect not often found in the home market. Perfect for when you're going for that "you shouldn't be here" kind of vibe.

I bought 10 of these bulbs for my bathroom mirror, where they replace a row of spherical 25W incandescent bulbs. The LED bulbs look brighter than the incandescent bulbs; the light color is consistent and acceptable for my taste, only a little more bluish than the incandescent light color. The LEDs come on with a short delay on the order of a half second, faster when they have been off for just a few minutes. The bulbs do not get hot, even after a half hour or so. The only drawback for my application results from the fact that no light is radiated towards the back of the bulbs, i.e. towards my mirror. Due to this design, the total light output is smaller and the illumination of my bathroom is less uniform than with the incandescent bulbs, despite the LED bulbs' brighter front-view appearance. I hope we will eventually see fully spherical LED bulbs of this size; everything else is almost perfect.

Unit was too large for application intended. Kept and utilized in another lamp. Recommend listing this with exact sizing for small harp lamp application (decorative lamp). Provides plenty of light for two watts, only IF it fits the lamp.
