MY KIDS ADORED THIS BOOK, AFTER ABOUT THREE READINGS THEY HAD MEMORIZED THE RHYMES AND WERE NOT AT ALL BORED BY COUNTING TO 20.WE WORE OUT THE LIBRARY'S COPY AND ORDERED OUR OWN. I LEARNED A BIT ABOUT BASEBALL AS WELL. NOT THE USUAL DULL COUNT OF CRITTERS OR OBJECTS, THIS BOOK TELLS A STORY BETWEEN THE RHYMES.

I loved this picture counting book because it uses the numbers from one to twenty to introduce various aspects of the game of baseball,with full-color realistic paintings. Children who love the game would love this book. It would be great to use for storytelling or for a math or sports unit in the classroom.

The book came in a few days and my son loves it. I would buy again from this seller without second thought.

My 3 year old grandson loves this book, he borrowed it from his local library and I am going to purchase the book for him. I visited him in Kentucky this past week and I was amazed at his interest in this book. He just turned three and was counting to 20 while we read this book to him. He would count on every page the number of bats, baseballs, ice cream cones, baseball players etc.etc. I highly recommend this book as he learns about the game of baseball as he learns to count.

Even the youngest readers can get ready to play ball with this zippy verse filled book that teaches counting from one ball to twenty baseball cards. A helpful glossary of baseball terms is also included.

Near the end of the book some of the pages appear to have been stuck together so there are big places where instead of the picture you have white patches.
