It taught me baseball,

I had an earlier version of this book when I was growing up playing baseball in the 70's & 80's. As a kid I would study it relentlessly trying to memorize where every player went on every position. With moderate athletic ability I was able to make the college baseball team. I owe a large part of that to knowing how to play defensively. This book does that for the young player that REALLY wants to know all they can about defensive positioning.
There is some other stuff on practices, field preparation and offensive strategy too. So glad I got the book for a recent birthday to share with my kids. |
