Gr 4-6-This book covers history, design, cost, location, and other details, with chapters on ballparks that no longer exist as well as those of the future. One chapter treats collectibles, ranging from inexpensive postcards to stadium seats and turnstiles. Many pages have a dense, textbook appearance. Some historical photos are in black and white; others are in color, and most have a faraway focus. A secondary purchase, even though there is a dearth of titles on this subject.
