Pursue Something Else!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Baseball and the Pursuit of Innocence: A Fresh Look at the Old Ball Game (Paperback)
This book is about as close to a complete waste of the reader's time as anything I've read in recent memory. The the author is a pedantic professor with a penchant for baseball, which shouldn't be considered a sufficient excuse for churning out a book about the game. The writing is stilted and dull; there are no new or striking or even interesting insights. As we used to say back in Brooklyn: "Fuggeddabowdit!"
