My grandson had been throwing very hard but lacked control. My son said the video points out the important points a thrower should pass through on a pitch but was told not to try to alter the unique throwing style. He tried it and it works. So much more can be said about the book and the help it gives.

This video really does a great job breaking down pitching to a young adult or even childrens level. Just what you expect from Ripken baseball.

If you're a begining youth coach, this really does help you break it down for any age group. Step by step for any age to comprehend. If you've been coaching youth baseball for awhile, it's also a good reminder that they are children. That each one has different rates of learning.

It does not get into many advanced things for pitching, as far as defense and complex pitches, but it goes into great detail on basics.

Cal and Billy didn't pitch, but they found an expert pitching instructor for this one. I'm not a pitcher, but I learned a lot about pitching from this CD. Concise and well presented.

It can be a little too much about Cal...but ego has to be striked...he is an obvious giant. Otherwise...recommend BOTH players & coaches have a look to improve your team's and individual performance.
