4.0 out of 5 stars Focussed, detailed look at umpire positioning, May 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Baseball Umpires' Guidebook: Proper Positioning (Spiral-bound)
For beginning and experienced umps alike, this book provides detailed positioning and play coverage descriptions for every possible game situation. There's no discussion of rules, analysis of play, or information on mechanics -- just where to stand and which ump is responsible for the call. Two-man positioning (i.e., for amateur baseball) only -- three- and four-man positioning is covered in a later volume.
