4.0 out of 5 stars For collectors/completists
OK, I'm a baseball junkie and that is why (for the most part) that I bought this. There are some truly entertaining tunes on here and the disc is fun. If you must have one disc of baseball music- buy volume 1. If you are a completist then buy volume 2. Don't overpay, though.

3.0 out of 5 stars Holy cow!
This follow up to the original Baseball's Greatest Hits is not as good as the first one. It seems like they used up the best songs the first time around. But there are still some good songs here, as well as some not-so-good songs. You get folk songs, blues songs, novelty songs, show tunes, R&B songs, gospel songs, country songs and more. My favorite is "The St. Louis Browns" by Skip Battin. This CD is not as essential as the first Baseball's Greatest Hits, but it still of interest to baseball fans.

I've already done this and I don't want to do it again. Why do you make me do it ??!
Now this additional note is written the next day and I don't understand why I'm allowed to post this and not the one written about Greatest hits ONE ?
Something strange going on in AMAZON country !?!?
