5.0 out of 5 stars A jewel in the library of every baseball fan, January 25, 2010
This review is from: Baseballs Greatest Moments [VHS] (VHS Tape)
The true baseball fan cannot view the events on this tape enough, for they are part of what could pass as a religion. Once you love it, baseball is a game that permeates your entire being. I watched some of these events on television, I will never forget the nights that Henry Aaron hit his 715th home run or when the ball trickled through Bill Buckner's legs in the 1986 World Series.
Some of the other events are Roger Maris hitting his 61st homer of the 1961 season, Lou Gehrig's farewell at Yankee Stadium, Babe Ruth "calling" his shot, Joe Dimaggio's 56 game hitting streak and Bill Mazeroski's home run to win the 1960 World Series. Even though you know what is going to happen, the chills and excitement of the moment are still there, to be re-generated as many times as needed. This tape is a jewel in the library of all baseball fans.
