Overall The Best cd I've bought in a year n more

"Based On A True Story" is not a great album, but it is far better than his last attempt. (For those who remember back in 2001 he released the God-awful "MY World My Way") On this release he seems more focused and ready to release his fifth album. The albums highlights are "We Like Them Girls" featuring Petey Pablo, and a version w/o Pablo, "Be There" & "Clap". Granted Silkk will probably never go back to the "stellar" Silkk we remember from "Charge It 2 Da Game", this album is sure not to fall upon deaf ears.

Ok,yea i am a big nolimit fan been followin the miller-boyz careers for about 10 years.When MP changed the nolimit name to newnolimit..and released gameface i even question the stablity of the tank,Then they release a ok 504 boyz...Then MP fires a shot out the tank on GSBS a 5 star album..then here we are silkk the shocker...I have to say from the start i was into the album...we like the girls.remix. with petey pablo is gotta be a number one hit...it just has that beat and the lyrics...Got it on lock is a hott ass track featuring a newnolimt soldier POP...and he adds some hot flava to the track...we dont dance we bounce is as raw as a club banger can get the beats on this album are SICK AS hell....MIKE DIESEL IS A UP and coming producer....THe only draw backs to this album is WHY U MAD..BE THERE ....But the other tracks make up for it...I mean if u want a true southern rapper then buy this album if you dont like it..then i think you need to switch from rap to country or rock...Well what ever the case....FREE C_MURDER.....and keep doing that damn thang silkk welcome back playboy you was missed(...) nolimit 2004 2005 and beyond peace A % STAR ALBUM

This cd of course is not better than his first release The Shocker but this is a great cd I like every song on it I can play it without skipping a song the production is nice and the guest arent that many but who needs guest on this cd Silkk ripped it I recommend this cd alot

This cd has some good production. Although it is not the best no limit release, it is worth a listen. I would like to see more guest appearances. Overall not a bad cd. The track with Petey Pablo is blazing. It actually sounds like Silkk took his time and did some thinking about his lyrics.But don't expect any NAS like, deep lyrics,but he has improved. Tracks 1,2,3,7,15, & 16 are good..

If you don't like this CD you are just a hater. It is an original piece from Silkk the Shocker. One of the Best CD I have heard from No Lomit in a long time. You need to Stop Hating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tink this is one of the best albums that came out of the south this year. Silk has matured alot over the years and his music is a direct rep. of that fact. There are alot of rapers that try to sound like other people like jay-j, nas, biggie,or 2 pac but silk has always had his own thing and I respet that. I can tell alot of people hate on Silk(no limit) and its realy because they are the only record label besides g-unit,star track, and ill will outkast that dares to be different and not just cater to trl watching 106@park voting groupies.Dont get me wrong I like trl and 106@park. But when it comes to music(your music,rock rap,classical,techno,what ever), no mater what you like it should be a breath of fresh air. And that is why I like based on a true story is a part of a large genra but if you listen to it you can hear the witt in silks lyrics nad the beats are like magic. Put this in your car and every one will be like "What is that?!" So just be like you would'nt get it and bounce on that ass. Peace much love to all my souhtern rappers and real artist like myself!!!

silkk and master p needs to give it up, nobody feels them no more but for some reason p still wants to make trashy cd's went from copying 2pac to biting lil jon I wonder how much money is p making these days.

Master P's Ghetto D debuted at no.1 on the US pop charts and went on to sell 3 million records. Juvenile's 400 degreez was a slow seller initially, but some singles helpes the album climb into the top 10 eventually. 400 degreez has sold 4.5 million so far.
By the way, this album by Silkk is unoriginal, uninspired, and clumsy. Buy that B.G. OR Lil Wayne album instead.
