Ahh the Baseketball soundtrack, blending the sounds of ska with...the Cherry Poppin' Daddies? You heard it right folks, I speak truth, if you like ska you are going to want this album. 3.0 out of 5 stars An alright ska mix.
The four songs that make this an alright CD are Take on ME, Jump in Line, Beer, and Why Can't We Be Friends. This is not enough to make this a great soundtrack. I would reccomend it to Reel Big Fish fans everywhere due to the fact that RBF's cover of Take On Me rocks.

Even Deep Blue Something (thats right the guys who did "Breakfast At Tiffanys") do a great cover of "Tonight", Soul Asylum drops in with "I will still be laughing" and you can't leave out the Cherry Poppin' Daddies with their hilarious "Jump In The Line". If you still need proof by now well hey I only have one thing to tell ya, sorry this album obviously isn't for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars These songs really fit the movie, October 18, 2000
By
This CD really captures the personality of the movie, with songs from Nerf Herder, Reel Big Fish, and many more. While some of the songs are kinda boring after listening to them a few times, there is more good than bad about this CD. If you're a fan of ska, rock, or something in between, pick this up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Soundtrack!, July 20, 2000

Reel Big Fish and Soul Asylum are still great, Smash Mouth and Goldfinger worth listening to, and Plastiscene ROCKS! Keep an eye on that band! For a soundtrack, it's a worthwhile buy and that's rare.

5.0 out of 5 stars You NEED to buy this cd..., August 9, 1999
I bought this cd because Reel Big Fish was on it but once i got it home and listened to all of the songs, i couldnt help but listen to it over and over! I especially love the song Jump In The Line! But of course the Fish take it all! They are pure genius! Buy this cd NOW!

I really like the songs and the movie is awesome, I own it, but my question is this: What's the name of the song that the cheerleaders dance to in like the middle of the movie? It sounds like "Everybody's downtown, everybody's downtown". Does anyone know? Please if you could tell me i'd thank you a lot. Just send the answer to highcommander3rdrock@hotmail.com Thank you again.

If you want a CD in which you want to get pumped with happiness this is your selection, it doesn't matter how down you are, this will get you in a good mood, come on it is Ska/Punk, it has Goldfinger, RBF and many other great band, the only thing that could meke this even better would be some other 20 bonus tracks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't get Psyched Out!!!, July 20, 1999
By A Customer
Get the Baseketball Soundtrack. The movie was halarious, which is what you can expect from the South Park guys. Lots of upbeat punk, ska, swing, and other songs to keep you happy here. Reel Big Fish are a highlight with "Take on Me", originally an A-Ha song big in the 80s. Buy it, then watch the movie again or for the first time!!!WOWEE!!!
