My 2 year old LOVES these. He dances around and shakes them to the music. I also teach a music class and use these and they are universally loved by all children. ANd you can't beat the price!Voice Lessons To Go Volume 1: Vocalize and Breath

This is a good little plastic shaker egg. It's a little smaller than I expected (we have a wooden shaker egg that is a bit bigger) but I wouldn't consider it any kind of choking hazard for my one year old. Has a nice, rich shaker sound and feels good in the hand. Nice.

wish they were made of more eco-friendly and obviously non-toxic materials though.......

bought these for my baby....he occasionally mouths them so i wish they were made of better materials....other than that....he loves them....they do what they say they do...and seem durable.

These were smaller than I had expected but that was really a good thing since I was ordering them for my 2-year old.
After attending some music/movement classes and using some egg rhythm shakers there and having fun with them I decided to get some for at home. They're a fun easy way to keep a beat and get a little exercise while doing so, my daughter likes that she can run around and shake them as opposed to having to sit still to play a different type of rhythm instrument that would require more concentration.

They are well-made and sturdy, although as always with children I would suggest supervision, I imagine these little things would definitely break if a child were to walk or stand on it.

For an adult's hand I find them to be rather small, if you wrap your whole hand around it the sound is muffled a bit. The only other option is to hold it between your finger-tips which can be a bit awkward.

My students love these little shakers. They are excellent for teaching rhythm and for teaching togetherness--especially in non-intimidating ways. Buy a bunch of these and keep them in your rainy day kit.

These eggs can also be fun at pep rallies, school spirit days, drum circles, parties, school carnivals, team building sessions, spring fling, parades, camp, vacation Bible school, and athletic events--anywhere one wants to make a noise or "shake" things up in a positive way. They make fun prizes too.

I guess I was duped by the photo into thinking I was buying more than one egg shaker, although it does say "single egg shaker." $6.00 for one little egg shaker? My toddler loves it, but next time I would buy the set of 4 for $8.00 offered by another manufacturer. Quite a rip! I forgot to put in a review when I first got these shakers, but my son LOVED them (18 months at the time). He got a HUGE smile on his face whenever they came out of the toybox. He'd shake them around, one in each fist, for a good 10-20 minutes at a time.

These egg shakers are a favorite of toddlers at the music class. They eye the eggs in the plastic box through the class and then shout "hurray" when they are brought out. On his own, my little guy uses it like a rattle and crawls around with it for awhile.

Bought as a musical gag gift, but has been used by the recipient every time we go out to Karaoke. Good for keeping the beat for those not content to just singing along with a song.

I'm very happy with this product. We haven't used it much because we use it on trips (it's so compact and easy to travel with). A lot of toys are less interesting and more cumbersome. Great buy.
