A straight-forward study of scripture,

This review is from: 25 Basic Bible Studies: Including Two Contents, Two Realities (Paperback)
This book is an excellent Bible study tool. It is perfect for beginnng Bible study students, but I would also recommend it as a guide for small group or home Bible studies.. Francis Schaeffer was a very spiritual (but not religious!) man with a great amount of integrity. I also recommend his commentary on Romans 1-8. If you feel that religion has let you down and want to know what the God of the Bible has to say about it, read this book, including Two Contents, Two Realities at the end. An excellent way to equip yourself in a world filled with contradictions.

Unity between the scriptures and revelation,
By
This review is from: 25 Basic Bible Studies: Including Two Contents, Two Realities (Paperback)
These 25 studies show the unity between the scriptures and revelation. Schaeffer focusses on a specific point that stands out in a passage then expounds upon it. This is meant to be a beginning study, but I believe it to be much deeper than that.
The first chapter is devoted to God's attributes. The second chapter is on God's interaction and relationship with man. Chapter three is on salvation, grace, and sanctification. And finally, the fourth chapter concentrates on the future. Well put together; highly recommended. Wish you well Scott

This book is exactly what it says--25 basic Bible studies. It's all Scripture with brief comments by Dr. Schaeffer. I strongly recommend it for new Christians as well as for older Christians who may need some "brushing up" on the basic tenets of our faith.

A very insightful book by a modern day prophet. This is an excellent choice for Christians that want to re-evaluate and re-affirm their beliefs and a superb tool to use while witnessing to others about Christ.

Great Bible Study for new or young Christaians,

I have been going through this with my 4 children. As I stated in the title, it's a great Bible study for new Christians, young Christians, or non-Christians looking to find out what all this Christianity stuff is about. We talk to our kids about God and spiritual things regularly, so I think the older three kids (7 thru 12) comprehend the vast majority of the study. What they don't understand, they ask questions about and it usually leads to really good conversations.
