This is a great book, a perfect compact size and geared toward begining chem students. The book is designed in a very non intimidating and user friendly manner with practice problems and their solutions throughout every chapter. It prepares the student for more advanced chemistry classes extremely well and I would recommend the book to anyone looking to do exceed in chemistry. The book was so helpful that I referenced it throughout my general chemistry classes.

The text book was for our son, who is a second year university student. The campus store sold this book at a much higher price, so finding this text through Amazon was terrific! From now on, we will try to purchase other text books through Amazon.

it was used book but it was like new. not really big matters

I bought this book New but when I received it, it was clearly a used book. There were water stains on the pages, eraser marks in between the pages, writing in some places,and the cover was dirty. I did not return the book because I needed the book for school right then and there. I am very disappointed and angry because I specifically wanted to buy a new book. I could have easily bought a used book for much cheaper. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. despite their good star rating that others have given.. in my point of view you are jeopardizing if you will really receive the condition and quality in which you expect to receive.

I ordered this book overnight and got it next day when my course started. Perfect!

The used book I ordered was in perfect condition but above all it arrived several days before the expected date.

I am content of the product. It is not in a perfect condition ;however, I am aware it is a used book. Nevertheless, the book's price is satisfactionary. I strongly recomend Amazon.com as a reliable source of good quality products.
