this book is an excellent resource for your basic lab campanion. each chapter is outlined clearly and is detailed for the individual student to understand. I so much enjoy this book I have introduced even the new students coming into the respiratory program to purchase this book. this is a Must Have! all required information that is needed is here, and explained step-by-step format. buy it, this book is a breath of fresh air,not filled with unnessary medical jargon.

Handy is an understatement. Every RT and RT student should have this book nearby.

This is the bare bones, no fluff, respiratory equipment guide. Follows clinical check-offs and tells you exactly what you NEED to know. Well worth the envestment for any student or RT.

This lab manual begins with basics, such as universal precautions and hands washing protocol, and presents clinical procedures in a way that's easy to understand. It can also go hand in hand with Egan's Fundamentals of Respiratory Care.

Everything is so well-explained in this book that you hardly need any help from your instructor. It even has a check list for your instructor to see if you know what you must to perform a procedure properly.

Needed a competency check off for the Bird VIP and it was exactly what I needed.

I recently started the RT Program and this is one of the required books to have. It has been very useful and is easy reading.

I had to purchase this book for respiratory therapy school, and overall, I think it is a really great book. It is easy to understand, thorough, and walks you through proceedures that you will need to know. I still use this book as a refresher. This is one that I will keep on the shelf as reference material.
