I bought this pillow, because I have always been and always will be a back sleeper. Regardless of how many times I went to sleep on my side, I always woke up flat on my back, and now that I'm well into the third trimester, I knew it was time to do something about that. My problem is that when I lie on my side, I get horrible cramps in my thighs and hips and end up on my back to get the pressure off of them. I searched for pillows in a number of places, but this was the only one that claimed it supported the lower back (others advertised belly support, which isn't a huge deal to me), so I gave it a try. When I first opened the box, I wasn't too sure about it--it looked very flimsy and small. But after setting it up, it supported me completely! And I even woke up not on my side once, but the wonderful thing about the design of this pillow is that even when I get all the pressure off my hips and thighs, it keeps me at an angle, so I'm never actually flat on my back. But the majority of the time, the back support side supplied enough firm support that I was comfortable on my side without putting pressure on my thighs and hips. I love this pillow and wish I had bought it 27 weeks ago, when I first found out I was pregnant. But instead, I bought a full body pillow, which although was comfy to sleep on, provided no support but in front and was large and cumbersome. This wedge pillow is supportive, but takes up just enough space. It's wonderful and a huge comfort for back sleepers.

I bought this pillow based on the other favorable reviews from back sleepers, which I am. I am at the beginning of my third trimester. The first night I tried the pillow, I thought it was great. Then for a few nights my side hurt in the morning, so I stopped using the pillow. But I was more uncomfortable without the pillow, so I gave the wedge another go. I experimented with placement - both adjusting the velcro position, and adjusting how high/low to place the pillow when I slept. After experimentation of what works best for me, I think this pillow is great now! The pillow provides great support and prevents me from rolling over on my back while asleep. One piece of advice is to remove the casings as soon as you buy and wash several times. I found that the blue die ran onto my pj's. Luckily, my pj's are really old and ready for the rag bag anyway.

When I first got this product, I thought the pillows were uncomfortable. However, after adjusting the velcro to provide more space between the pillows, it got better. What made it even more comfortable was using a small throw pillow between me and the back pillow form and another pillow to hold next to my stomach. The result has been that I can now sleep through the night without the nagging, intense pain in my hips that was keeping me awake. I got this product a month ago (I'm now 8 months pregnant) and have used it every night until this past weekend when we went out of town. I didn't take the pillows with me because I figured I could accomplish the same results by just stacking regular pillows behind my back and in front of me. I was sure wrong! At the hotel I kept waking up throughout the night with intense pain in the hips. After 3 sleepless nights, I was amazed to find that I was able to sleep through the night pain-free when I got back home and again used this pillow form. I think the reason is that I'm able to lean against the back pillow (which stands straight up) so it relieves pressure off the hips.

I am 6 and a half months pregnant. I got this pillow a month and a half ago after reading the favorable reviews. I quit using it pretty quickly. Maybe I toss and turn too much for this sort of wedge, but I would consistently wake up with the wedge under me in such a way that I was being stabbed by sharp edges on the velcro (which is underneath)! I am much more comfortable sleeping on my left side with 4 pillows... some skinny and some fluffy ...and a teddy bear (my hubby gets to teeter on the edge of the bed) ;-)

I was not too sure I wanted to purchase something like this online, but I am sure glad I did. I started using this heavily from my 6th month on and it has really helped me get a full nights sleep. I find I do have to roll over about 1 or two times a night and I just rotate the pillow to accomodate. Once you are in the habit of doing that, it is no big deal. The velcro is adjustable and can easily fit all body sizes. The pillow provides great back and tummy support and you can lean into the back wedge so that all of your weight isn't directly on your hip. This pillow helped me with my hip soreness. Great product!

I got a pregnancy wedge with my first pregnancy 4 years ago and thought it was the wierdest thing I had ever seen. It turned out to be the greatest. After one uncomfortable pregnancy I vowed that I wouldn't be having children again for a while and I sold the pillow. Now that I am 7 months pregnant I was dying to find a wedge. I was so excited when I found one here I ordered it right away. I talk to lots of people about the wedge and they think that it is strange sounding. It really provides a great amount of support and comfort without the bulk of pillows. I would reccommend this to anyone. Once you get one you will wish you had always had one!!

I'm in my last trimester and just bought this 2 days ago, what a difference. I'm normally a back sleeper and found myself on my back when I wake up. Sleeping on your back is a big no-no. This supported by back so I didn't rollover & brought comfort to my aching belly. It's wedge shape fits right under your belly so it doesn't feel like it pulling down so much. I absolutely love this product and I can't even convey how much. It's a must have. I wish I bought it weeks ago. It has definitely relieved alot of my back pains.

The first night I used this product, I cried out of relief! The two wedges detach and have been easy to readjust and configure to comfort my growing belly. It has been a huge help from early in my 2nd trimester through my third trimester.

I felt a complete difference the very first night I slept with the pregnancy wedge. I regret not purchasing this sooner. It truly makes a difference in our sleep - and we diffently need our sleep! After the baby comes you can use it to prop the baby's head/body up when he/she is ill - another wonderful use. This is a must buy and a great deal.

I didn't really like this at first, but now I really like it. It has helped prevent me from rolling on my back. It supports your abdomen and your back and really does make you more comfortable while you sleep. Also, I like to use it as a prop to elevate my feet. I suggest this highly, especially in the last trimester!
