ECG imaging,
By Jim R (New Haven, CT) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Basic Electrocardiography: ECG (Paperback)
This is an outstanding overview of electrocardiography showing the relationship of the underlying electrophysiologic anatomy (with drawings by the famous medical artist, the late Frank Netter) and the resultant surface ECG. "A picture says a thousand words" and this ECG book really ties it all together. Outstanding for health care provider students, residents, and faculty.

A great EKG primer,

This review is from: Basic Electrocardiography: ECG (Paperback)
Basic Electrocardiology by Steven Scheidt very clearly and methodically illustrates which progression of electrical activity through the heart's anatomy correlates to the segments of the EKG. The time-lapse color sequences through all the leads really helped me gather the basic tools to interpret EKGs. Concepts like Q-waves and bundle block I think are very well presented. Overall, this is an outstanding first book to acquire the foundation needed for EKG analysis.

i used to love this book as a student, i couldn't resist buying. Good for students and residents, it covers the basic of EKG interpretation. Not as elementary as some newbooks on the market.
