2.0 out of 5 stars not a very good supplement, February 5, 2008

This review is from: Basic Federal Income Tax (The Crunchtime) (Paperback)
This was my 3rd crunchtime. First two were pretty helpful, but this one wasn't very good. Supplements tend to be hit or miss. This one was defiantly a miss. Unfortunately, 'basic' federal income tax is a little more complicated then this simple book can explain.

2.0 out of 5 stars Three strikes and you're out: Avoid this guide., December 8, 2008
I share the sentiment of the other two reviewers: While Emanual's CrunchTime guides are typically helpful, this particular one is to be avoided. Though concise, it is often poorly organized, and the explanations it offers are frequently confusing. There are better alternatives.

3.0 out of 5 stars There's better out there for your money, September 16, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased this to help me study for my tax final, and only about half the practice questions were any help. Also, so of the questions are phrased strangely and it was difficult to figure out what it was asking. I'd get the Black Letter Outline instead.Black Letter Outline on Federal Income Taxation (Black Letter Outlines) That outline explains things in simple terms and has a great overview at the beginning.
