covers the basics
Definitely get a more thorough book with a CD included, this won't do it as a standalone guide. Progresses through the basic blues concepts: chords and progressions, with songs for E and A blues demonstrating fills, turnarounds, intros and endings, solos. Then moves on to songs/chords for minor blues, country blues, rock blues and jazz blues. Scales and chord reference...

Good - But Still A Guitar Case Book
The "Basic" information about blues guitar is good for what you pay. But don't expect a whole lot - because of the price.

Definitely get a more thorough book with a CD included, this won't do it as a standalone guide. Progresses through the basic blues concepts: chords and progressions, with songs for E and A blues demonstrating fills, turnarounds, intros and endings, solos. Then moves on to songs/chords for minor blues, country blues, rock blues and jazz blues. Scales and chord reference at the end. No frills; devoting a page to each concept. You really need to have an idea to begin with of what blues 'sounds' like to make this book work.
