Every song on here is great! This is a must-have for anyone who picked up Chat & Business and loved it as much as I did. (Yes, that's the Japanese import, I wanted the extra songs.) Some reviewers elsewhere on Amazon compare them to other bands and I have to admit I don't know any of those bands. I was introduced to Ikara Colt completely and utterly by accident and fell in love with their music. It has a rough, unfinished, garage band sound full of catchy hooks and this EP is no different. It's raw, preciously uncommercialized, unapologetic rhythm at its finest.

"Panic" is my favorite one on here, followed closely by "Don't They Know". There are lots of people in the market place selling this for under a dollar, some as low as .01! Even with shipping added, that's a bargain for what you get! Check them out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wave the pink flag, October 9, 2003

Ikara Colt wears their influences on their sleeves. Certainly, postpunk stalwarts The Fall and Wire occupy places of honour in their record boxes.

That being said, though, this EP is a great addition to the genre. The crunchy guitar work and subtle electronics combined with clear vocals make this a very listenable and enjoyable EP. The EP format seems to have been a very smart choice as I was left wondering by the end whether or not their sound could properly sustain a full record.

All that aside though, the fifth track on the EP (May B 1 Day #2) is almost worth the price of the record alone.
