Editorial Reviews

Review

This first-rate book, comprehensive, despite its size, and of a difficult kind to write, will give pleasure, stimulate interest, and reward attention. Tony Weir Thanks to its precision and conciseness, which make it particularly easy to read, and despite the impressive mass of information in it, it avoids the danger of being facile and superficial in its analysis. 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect black letter law translation worth the price., October 11, 1999

This review is from: Basic Japanese Laws (Modern Japanese Law Series) (Hardcover)
It is important to find a source of authority when discussing the laws of a foreign country. The growing trend of most countries of placing their laws on the internet has not made it to Japan. Consequently, where the internet, Westlaw & Lexis-Nexis fail, this book succeeds. However, tax laws of Japan are not covered in this volume. Perfect translation worth the price
