Dr. Susie H. VanHuss, Retired Executive Director of University of South Carolina Foundations and Distinguished Professor Emerita of Management of USC, previously served as Professor and Head of the Management Department in The Moore School of Business. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and her MBA and Ph.D. degrees from Indiana University. Her teaching specialties include business communications, administrative systems, and personnel management. Dr. VanHuss is a prolific author who has received a Gold Book award commemorating the sale of a million copies of one of her textbooks. Her work, published by South-Western, includes textbooks in communications, keyboarding and word processing, and office technology. She has written numerous journal articles and has served on the editorial review boards of several leading business education journals. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

Dr. Susie H. VanHuss is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Management in the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Central Carolina Community Foundation from May, 2008 through February, 2009 and as Executive Director of USC Foundations from September 1, 1997 to June 30, 2006. Previously she served as Professor and Head of the Management Department in The Moore School of Business. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and her MBA and Ph.D. degrees from Indiana University. Susie is a prolific author who received a Gold Book Award from South-Western/Cengage Publishing Co. commemorating the sale of one million copies of one of her textbooks. Her work includes many textbooks in communications, keyboarding, word processing, and integrated computer applications.
