I've never been a huge fan of Interact ... it seems that for every good product they release they release 3 bad ones. This basic memory card is not worth the money. First off, theres no LCD screen, which means you won't be able to use special features in certain games (i.e. NFL 2K). Second, the card doesn't fit properly in the controller; you really have to use pressure to snap it in there, and once it's in good luck getting it out! While it does have the standard 200 blocks of memory, my main gripe with this product is that any save that takes up more than 50 blocks will not save and will corrupt all of your saved files! Pass on this card and opt for the official Sega VMU ... it's well worth the money.

I've had this thing for only two weeks, and twice now it has lost my save information entirely. No warning, no error message -- I just turn on the machine and find that it says I have no save files. *Extremely* annoying. Even if it did this only once every couple of months I would send the thing back; if it's going to be losing my games once a week I may as well not even have a memory card.

Don't go through the frustration of spending hours working through a game like Sonic Adventure and then find you have to start over from the very beginning -- twice. I've now seen in other Internet discussion that my experience with this product is common, and the usual advice is to use the Sega VMU instead.

After using it to store about half a season on NBA 2K it showed that files were corrupted and no longer works at all. It is a complete waste of money, and I wasted countless hours playing through a season. The VMU is supposedly much better, although I haven't used it yet. Do not buy this, you will save a few bucks, but pay for it in the long run.

I have a Sega Dreamcast and I have the same memory card as everybody else and in my personal experience the thing always corrupets when I create player's,and I'm really tired of saving things.So I'm going to buy a VMU as well, tomorrow.Those reviews really helped alot.Thanks!

First of all, if you plan on saving your season from NFL 2K onthis card, don't even think about it. Every single time I have triedto save a season on interact's memory card it has become corrupted. I have heard similar stories from friends also, so i know that this is not a isolated insident, be warned! don't go cheap spend the extra bucks and buy a sega vmu!

If you realize, everyone is complaining about this Memory Card due to NFL2K or the other 2k games. EVERY VMU/NON-LCD memory card is having trouble with NFL2K and every other of the "2K" Series. They either take up all the space on the memory cards/VMUs or Deletes/Corrupts files. Sega stated that they fill fix this problem in the "2K1" Series of NBA, NFL, NHL and so on... Except for the abouve problem, This memory card is a great and cheap alternative to the other VMUs.

... I am very disappointed and annoyed at this unreliable piece of hardware.

[Some have said] this card can't deal with larger save files...guess what, it's not so good at dealing with smaller files either. Everything from my browser bookmarks, to my nhl2k season, to my Sega GT career have always been lost or corrupted by the poorly designed memory card.

I recommend anyone who's serious about making progress in any of their video games avoid this card at all costs. Buy something more reliable, unless you like starting your games all over again because the stupid card put to waste the long hours of gaming you put into it.

i got this card because it was the only thing they had, and i saved my NFL2K season on there and three games into my season it had ''damaged memory'', thank god i just ordered my VMU, do not by this memory card!

dont buy it. i have sonic and house of the dead 2 and i had 70%of sonic down and a turned it on the next morning and it said o %! IHAD EVERYTHING IN HOTD 2 ALSO. AND IT ERASED IT ALL!

I agree 100% with the previous review stating that this product is a piece of junk. I purchased two of these memory cards and both corrupted all data 1/3 times it was used. Returned both and purchased a sega VMU. I haven't had a problem since.
