Excellent for those wondering just what the Bible is about, March 15, 2001
This review is from: The Basic Revelation in the Holy Scriptures (Paperback)
A truly profound book opening up the most basic and essential truths found in the Bible. For all those wondering what "it" is all about, you need this book. It covers such crucial truths as God's plan, Christ's redemption, the Spirit's application, (thus the Triune God), the believers who receive all just mentioned, the church which is the aggregate of those believers, the kingdom (2 chapters on a subject little understood by most Christians) and the ultimate consummation - the New Jerusalem (4 chapters opened up in a deep and profound way worthy of the Bible; I can't actually ever even remember a pastor in the fundamental denomination I grew up in ever mentioning the New Jerusalem. I guess most equated it with heaven. A wrongly, though commonly held view). Overall a marvelous book of 149 pages. Get it and read it and enjoy it.
