The descriptions of how to answer the questions are excellent. The types of questions are completely appropriate to the NMTA. However, the answer key has a number of errors in it, it will have you questioning both your sanity and your ability to add two numbers together. Rest assured, you are the one who is correct. I can't believe the editors of a test prep book made so many basic skills errors themselves. I scored very, very well on the actual test, but using this study guide really shook my confidence since I couldn't understand why I was getting so many easy questions wrong. Just something to keep in mind if you need to use this book!

This book is good to have as an overview of what will be on the test, however, you cannot rely on it alone to study. There are many errors in the key, therefore I spent a great deal of time on the internet verifying information to make sure I wasn't making mistakes.
