this was a very helpful book for me throughout medical school. it explored all aspects of everything we covered in classes, plus other intresting subjects. i could refer to it whenever i had questions on lab tests, and the answers were always there. Scott Traub's "Basic Skills in Interpreting Laboratory Data" is i must buy for any medical school student. :)

This is a great reference book for any clinical pharmacist. I was first introduced to it by my college of pharmacy professor and she used it to look up misc lab values and what they mean. It also tells what drugs can interfere with specific lab tests. However, this edition is a bit dated and the CRP lab was not included in this book and I had to search it on the internet.
